CPU time and RAM??

I've asked a little bit before but now the computer is freezing, i've never had so many problems in the past, i'm getting memory errors all the time, I know nothing about ram, but i'm getting memory errors. Do I need more ram, or how can I find out what is using so much Processor Usage? This is what it tells me.

I have defraged and scan disk, it's still the same, most of the time i'm running at 1-3 MB of free memory, please help, i've posted a few other posts that never got answered.

Your OS and system info would help. How much RAM do you have? If you have XP, you should have at least 512MB RAM to work smoothly. Hitting ctrl-alt-del will bring up the Windows task manger. Click on the processes tab and it will display all running processes, the % of CPU time, and how much memory it's using. You might also want to consider viruses and spyware. Go to the FAQ for more info.

 

Thank you both for replying, I have IE6 and WIN ME. I'm supposed to have 127MB of ram, but when i run the freeramxp pro, i have less than 3mb free. I disabled all start up items so nothing is running when I control-alt-dlt. I know I dont have much hard drive space as well. 15GB with 4GB left.. I have an e machine I bought about four years ago.
