    Long time no visit....

So.. I build my own computers..... overclocked, water cooled, yada yada...

but this is about my work computer...
I work in a small business so I can do pretty much what I want...
but a new computer is not in the budget at work right now...

Currently using a Dell inspiron 530 with... wait for it... Vista! Yikes
but it is what it is......
current processor is a conroe E2200 at 2.2ghz...

I can find LGA775 processors for next to nothing....

anyone think it would be worth it to drop in a new CPU??

sadly, as mentioned, on a small business budget a whole new system isn't in the cards yet.....

    thoughts?

    Thanks!

I hear ya... I have the max ram on this board....
I'm not expecting much... but any little bit could help
I do have SSD's in my home computer and my laptop and that makes a HUGE difference...
but with this old Dell I don't think it will make much of a difference.

    Hmm
    Thanks
