Cpu Usage

    Why when my PC sites on the desktop with no other program running my CPU fan speeds up for no reason?
    I checked task manager, and (system is using 56% for what?) Why is system using so much CPU?

    asus essentio series
    Win 10 x64 pro
    ram 16Gb

    We can't tell you but Task Manager > Details > CPU column can.

    That's what I did went to task manager details and the CPU column came up and system was using 56% but now
    my fan is back to normal where I can here nothing again.

    But I'm going to do some research on this and see if it is a common problem

    It was also telling you which processes were using what%. Do some homework to find out what they were actually doing - quite possibly defragging your drive.

    Windows 10 will do updates as well when the system is idle.
