cpu

I am currently playing a couple of mmo's one in particular is RF online. My question is the cpu will not run any more than 20% usage. I have a single core sempron amd, running a nvidia 9500 with 2 gig ram. this runs most of my game well en0ugh.

I have found a simple solution that really helps(i put a simple google page up, I'm using chrome browser) I think its giving the program something to fight against and thus gets more CPU, but I get some spikes that are tolerable but audio cuts once in a while( i have a fx audio card).

I wonder if I can set something so the program runs at 100% like alot of other games or some other trick like this that may offer less spikes.
