crack a word file

    Hi guys, my professor uploaded a test example but its an .rtf file with a password on it. Does anyone know a program to crack this ? I think there is nothing illegal with this since its not a program crack amiright ?

    uploaded where? If he password protected it then it must have been for a reason. If he wanted you to have access to it then he wouldn't have set the password is what I'm thinking.....

    Just ask your professor what the password is.

    oh ask him.. why didnt I think of that lol
    Its christmas guys and I need it before the vacation is over, anyway he isnt my professor I just attend his lecture of the course.The reason of the password I have no idea.
    Why you guys all suspicious? I just ask how to open a text file, not how to crack some software.
    Anyway any helpful comments are welcomed, thx.

    its not just a text file, it's a file that has been password protected...and for a reason no doubt. People don't just password protect files for no reason. If you need it before the vacation is over get in touch with him somehow and ask him. If he intended you to have the password you would already have it ;)

    This ...is why we are suspicious...naturally so...majorgeeks wont help you bypass anything.
