I searched around to see if there was a thread about this, but I found only questions about other aspects of the program, so here goes.

When you click on Tools it opens a window similar to the Add/Remove Programs thingy in Windoze. Now my question is................Does this utility do the same thing as Add/Remove Programs? I noticed that when I used it to remove a program, it was still there in Add/Remove Programs though I could not then run the uninstaller. I do realize that sometimes even Add/Remove Programs leaves things behind & you have to just remove the entry. No problems have arose because of this. Just wanted to ask.

Don't know the program but I would say it does. Many programs do the same thing as Add/Remove. I like using Add/Remove Pro. Freeware of course. :D

In as far as removing the application, yes.

It then removes inconsistent registry entries using a separate function and then removes the listing in ADD/REMOVE Programs as an additional separate function. That's why you still saw the listing. CCleaner just does everything separately.
