I have been having alot of trouble, computer crashes and windows dies...

see my computer works till i play newer games. like World of Warcraft, Warcraft 3, Empire Earth 2, Sims 2... things like that crash and sometimes windows needs to be reformated before anythign will work again. So now i have updated everything and reformatted. On this computer i have nero, aim, and memtest. is there a way i can tell whats wrong with my system? should o check on he graphics card or anything? I want to be able to play newer games with out having a computer that crashes and restarts with an error when windows trys to load. I am unsure of the problem... what can i use to update my drivers? I updated my bios and ATI card, but i want to check my ram and do whatever i can to find the problem. Any idea?

For starters, you could go to Control Panel - System - Advanced - Startup and Recovery - and uncheck the box that says "Automatically reboot on error" and click on ok. This won't fix your problem, but it will prevent Windows from automatically rebooting when this occurs. This change should present you the feared BSOD that all Windows users are familiar with. It will also give you some error codes which will be a good start to diagnosing your problems, and I'm sure that some of the board members can help after that. Hope this helps! :)
