    Hi everyone

Well as the title suggests my computer keeps crashing. :confused

All i know i was using the computer typing up an assignment.

Then something to do with configuring the sound came up and said it was changing the parameters or something (i was not even using the sound or a movie player)

Then my computer crashed and would not work :cry

First it would not boot up

but after a few attempts it boots but then crashes when i try and use an application

how do i troubleshoot my comp to see whats wrong? there is nothing flagging up in the device manager.

    Could it be malware/Spyware?

    My System Spec is
    Pentinum(R) 4 2.92GHz
    512MB of Ram
    Radeon 9250 Graphics
    160 Gig HD

    Please help :wave

First question is: Does it continue to crash in Safe Mode? If not it's probably an errant driver.

Have you read this in the malware forum? And done what it suggests?http://forums.majorgeeks.com/showthread.php?t=35407

Are you using XP as I'm assuming you are?
