Crazy mouse

    this week at random points my mouse cursor will suddenly start activating and opening various random things each time i touch it. very annoying. any ideas? thanks

    Is it optical? put it on a piece of white paper if it is. That wouldn't explain why it opens up stuff though.
    If it came with a cd delete and reinstall the software.

    Check connections before anything else. Make sure its plugged in nice a firmly.
