create Backup Image / boot & restore

    Hello Fella's ;)

    I need some freeware and ideas,

    what i want to do is make an image of an install,

    then have that image stashed on a CD or DVD that i can boot from and easily restore the image,

    i need this to be idiot proof - meaning that were i to give the DVD to my boss he could follow the prompts and restore WITHOUT me giving him ANY explanation/instructions at all. :major

    thanks, both worthy threads, but neither answer my question

    Clonezilla is NOT for novice's, and the restore i need to create is.

    I dont mind how hard it is to MAKE the backup, but the restore from CD/DVD to HDD has to be foolproof
