I've deployed images many times but now I need to create an image. How do I go about creating a Windows 7 image? What utility do I use?

Win 7 has a built-in imaging capability. Windows Backup and Restore is not set up by default but you can install it by typing Windows Backup in Search. Obviously you will need either a second partition on your main drive, or preferably a second drive on which to park the image. Images can be restored from Windows, or from an installation or system repair disk.

errata - just search for Backup, not Windows Backup, and select Backup and Restore.
