Creating A New Folder On Desktop.

I am running Windows 10 and after an update I can't create a new folder on my desktop. When I right click on the desktop and go to new and then folder I get a message that the file can't be located. Any suggestions. Thanks.

 

is it just the desktop or any location in file explorer?

under step 2, you can download a reg file that you can double click to add to the registry.
step 3 has another reg file that will remove that functionality.
not sure what else to think...
