    Hi guys,
This is formally my first post apart from my intro and must say I am so proud to be here. I really am not that great like all you guys here when it comes to tech but I am trying I must say.
I am in the process of putting my skills together and promoting them in the form of a web page. THere is only one problem..... the web page. I have NO IDEA where to start.
I know I can figure out how to organise the name, site etc. but where I am stuck is essentially the best program to use to do the job. I really want a slick look and although this really all depends on my design, obviously the program needs to be satisfactory to do the job.
I haver heard some people say when you have Adobe Master Collection you need NOTHING ELSE, others say different. So I thought no one better to ask than here so if any of you can shed some light on this, that would be great.
BTW I am a MAC user so keep that in mind, as this hopefully does not get me into too many restrictions.
Also, I may not be able to use the program you may suggest, but will learn, that is however if the program isn't like ridiculously hard to navigate.
Also, while I am here I would also love to ask if any of you guys know of any Mac programs (not apps) that create professional photo collages.
Hope to hear from you soon,

I get alot from Amazon reviews. You might try putting together a list of the ones you like the most and then comparing the reviews. Here is Amazon's list of software that they have reviews for:

    http://www.amazon.com/gp/feature.html?ie=UTF8&docId=1000887971

If you know of others that you are familiar with, you can Google the software title + Amazon + review to get good user reviews...

The Mac section is here http://forums.majorgeeks.com/forumdisplay.php?f=40
but it is not too active.
I would say 99% of the posters in this section only use PCs so would have no idea of software to point you to.
I have not been on an Apple product since 1989!

I am one that says different! I use a number of tools from the Master Collection, but I am unable to use Dreamweaver - it's simply too confusing (for me).

First you need to decide if you want to use a WYSIWYG tool, or if you want to learn HTML/CSS/JavaScript. After that you can go and look for the appropriate tool for Mac.
