Creating DVD's.....

Hooray.. Santa brought me a DVD +\-RW (yipee!) but Santa brought OEM...
installed fine..
I have ATI's MMC so I can watch DVD's and I have Nero 5.5 so i can burn data....

here is the question.. what software do you recommend for creating DVD video disks from my home movies?
They are in mpg fomat, but I can convert or recapture in just about anything....

Any thoughts or suggestions?

I looked at that... for DVD Shrink to work you need .ifo files (as far as I can see..)
what do you use to create the .ifo files?

Thanks for the info... but I am not using other DVD's

I want to put my home movies on a DVD...they currently are in mPeg format..

 

hi exeter i use RECORD NOW MAX i mainly use it for backing up ps2 dvds but i just had a quick look and it has options to make dvd-video using m-peg files so i would assume thats what you need afraid its not freeware but you can download a trial here

i imagine that you will be able to make a disc with the trial if not let me know as you dont want to pay if you aint tried it first
