Creating Icons

Hello,

Is there an easy way to take a Jpg Image and create an Icon for a shortcut or Desktop item?

Open the file in paint,under image menu choose stretch/skew.
Reduce the % size in the stretch field so that the image becomes small.
Save the file as bitmap.Rename the .bmp to .ico
(you need to enable display extensions from control panel>folder option>uncheck hide extension of known file types).
That should do.
