Creating new directories

    Hello all....i have a question, I got some new software to install on my computer and it asks me to create a new directory on the drive of my choice and name it whatever....well my question is, how do i go about creating a new directory? Sorry guys all new to me:) Thanks!!

    OH yeah...i am running Windows XP media center.

    Creating a directory is not a big deal. Whenever you install software you create a folder in the "programme files", that's the new directory. Just do it, nothing will change, unless you install malware of course :D.
    If there is something deeper in creating a directory, please tell me but I think it's nothing more than a folder.
