    Hi

I just updated the drivers to my soundcard, and now no sound is coming from the speakers. It used to work just fine before the driver update. The speakers are fine, I tested them on another computer. I have uninstalled and reinstalled them once already manually and I still can't hear anything out of it. Any help on what I can do to get it back to working?

    I have Windows XP SP2
    AMD Athlon 64 processor 3800+
    2.41 Ghz, 1.00 GB Ram

Sound card is Creative SB Audigy 2 ZS sound card

    Thank you!

does your card (creative) use the same output jack for different things like speaker and headphone? Depending on how you set the software may make a difference.
Probably have to go to the creative software program and open it's settings and poke around.

Wish I could be more help.

Only thing i can really think of is this, open your Creative Speaker Settings and make sure "Digital Output Only" is not checked. If it is, that might be your problem, uncheck it and see if that works. Sometimes updating the drivers also updates/adds software, such as the Creative Media Source stuffs. That stuff might have been installed when you updated your drivers/firmware, and digital output only might have been turned on. Good luck!
