Cricket 2004 makes bad sector

I played ea sports cricket2004 using original CD, in office and Home PC. But
When I start the pc's next day it was not booting and just making chick, chick noice from harddisk. I used ultimate boot CD and checked and found there is bad sectors. I succed in repairing one (the one with just one month old Harddisk), and the other one I couldn't. When I checked with one friend he told he lost one laptop and one desktop after playing cricket 2004

Why the badsectors are created in the pc's ?(one is HP (new) pc and other is assembled)

Is it the problem inside the software?
