CRT monitor to DVI

    hi,i have a video card with a DVI port and a philips 17" CRT monitor with VGA conection.my question is,if i conect my CRT monitor to the DVI port of my viedo card using a DVI adaptor,can it improve the image qualty?

    No because it still goes through a vga connection. Now if you had a dvi port on the monitor and used it the quality would increase, but due you still going through the vga cable you loose the quality of image.
