CS Error

Hi, I'v just installed CS Condition Zero, but when I try and run it, I get this error:

SISGL
Warning:
Can't create a new surface
Out of video memory.
This program will exit.

I'm running an Intel Celeron CPU 2.60GHz 80gig hdd 512mb ram, with a NVIDIA GeForce FX 5200, Any ideas?

Edit: Forgot to mention I'm using XP with sp2

 

try setting everything in the config to minimum specs ie 640x480 res, no AA or AF, effects - low, etc etc.. also make sure you have the latest drivers

 

update your video drivers from nvidia.com. download, uninstall old drivers, reboot, install new drivers, reboot.

 

I downloaded the gfx driver from http://www.nvidia.com/object/winxp_2k_77.72.html , and checked to see if it was compatible with my gfx card from http://www.nvidia.com/object/77.72_winxp_32_supported.html , and it is, so I downloaded it, however when I run the installation program I get this:

Error
The NVIDIA Setup program could not locate any drivers that are compatible with your current hardware. Setup will now exit.

I can't change the settings in-game as the error comes up as soon as I run cs:cz, I have uploaded a pic here

theres a bajillion mfg that produce does items, doesn't help.

 

are you talking about the hardware wizard pop up? That isn't going to find anything. Just cancel that out and locate the drivers you downloaded from nvidia w/ windows explorer and double click the executable

 

No, that's what pops up when I open the executable.

 

here's what you can do. take counter strike out of your cd bay, take it in both hands, and bend in everywhich way. that should fix everything.
