cs source FPS

on CS source it jumps from 90-130-200 when alone or with people, but with fire fights it's like 35-60 tops, it's really annoying, I don't understand why it drops so bad and lags? Could anyone help?

 

well firefights add a lot of lightining and graphic cards need to process a lot. when i play the bloodrayne demo if im alone it sometimes goes up to 150-200 but in firefights it goes down to 60. maybe it could be that.

 

35 isn't that bad. you probably dont even notice it that much.

 

no I can definately se it, it doesn't affect my score that much, but it has. I have an x800 xl on a p4 3.0.... shouldn't it not stutter?

 

memory amount? speed/ timings? settings on the game?

 

gig of ram, I hvae the settings on high, but I don't think it changes much if i lower it.

 

what settings are you running at? what resolution, aa/af on? and do you have everything set to high?

 

just about... I think everythings maxed, but in my control panel for my gfx card even if I do set everything to performance it does the same.
