CS3 problems

Hi all

Im having some problems with photoshop cs3 and dreamweaver cs3 :cry

neither of them load on my vista 64 system. With photoshop cs3 I just get the grey window but no loader pops up and it crashes, with dreamweaver it doesnt ever bother opening a window I just get a dreamweaver process in taskmanager and nothing more. Adobe premier pro 7 works though and all the software worked when I was running vista hp 32bit. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling with no luck. Is cs3 compatible with vista 64, or is there special drivers that are need to run them in the 64 bit environment? Would love to know before I go and buy after effects cs3.

It doesnt give me any errors at all just. opens the window as it would normaly then the blue box loader screen that should appear doesn't. the the app just stops responding. Ive tried re-registering the dll with also no luck :confused

Just tried, i get the same problem, so tempting to ditch 64 untill cs4 arrives

 

Thanks I will try when i get in from work, although im pretty sure i have just the one licence for 32 and 64 got the £10 upgrade disk from microsoft.

 

I thought as much

I was checking out virtualy pc 2007 apparently it's only avalible for vista business and ultimate anyway. Is all the adobe software avalible for linux systems or would I have to buy new licences for them?

idk if this will help but , doing a clean install of the program
im not sure if vista 64bit has anything to do with your problem, i never actually had CS3 run on vista home 64bit
the only 64bit os that i installed CS3 is my windows 2008 server
and it is running perfectly fine
so try uninstalling it then doing a clean install
