css: external hyperlinks half rendering in ie7

Could anyone here be so kind as to help or direct me to a site where I may find answers to the problem I am having? Even suggested keywords to use in searches would be great.

IE7 Browser Render Problem: External hyperlinks in sidebar half or sometimes not rendering at all. Links appear when mouse is hovered over them. Here is the css page for the site

The errors visible in the html validation seem to have nothing to do with the sidebar.

Solved!!!

It was the line spacing in the css tags for the sidebar. WooHoo!!!
