Ctrl Alt Del Problem

1st hi all
Ok the other day i tried to alt tab out of a game it seemed to freeze for a sec not sure what buttons i pushed while waiting anyway afterwards when i ctrl alt del now it only brings up the cpu screen saying how much usage and history there are no tabs to get to processor part also there is no red square in the corner to close it .
Any help would be great thanks

 

First of all, , welcome to Major Geeks. What Operating system are you using? XP, Vista or something else?

I've attached 2 thumbnails.

First one displays Performance Tab, as I have it set up for me.
Second one displays Processes running in Processes tab.
I have sorted mine alphabetically A-Z. You can display in various sequences depending on which column heading you click on.

all i have is parrt of the 1st pic but only the gey box with no tabs above or anything else ive attached your pic after croping it to show all i see in the top part

 

forgot to say im using xp pc is about 2 years old

open task manager (ctrl-alt-delete)

double click anywhere on the border

 

Omg i feel so silly thank you very much it worked , glad i came on here last place like this i went they told me i had a virus and stuff.

I've never seen, or read of, that truncated display before. Bazza
