Ctx S762a

I'm considering buying this LCD screen, and I wondered if anyone here has any experience with it and can let me know how good it is.

Specifically, I'm interesed in the following points:
- Is it decent for gaming? I'm not a hardcore gamer, but I would like to be able to play the occasional shooter without problem. Is ghosting going to be a problem with this screen?
- How good is it at scaling out of its native resolution? By this I mean that if I scale it from its native resolution of 1280 x 1024 to, say, 1024 x 768, will it still look decent?

Of course, any general information you can give me about it will be greatly appreciated (how good its colour is, how crisp is the display, yada yada yada).

I have this one CTX S762G (Silver) 17" LCD Monitor w/ Speakers and it works great. BTW I am a gamer and have no issues with ghosting or what not so you shouldn't be fine.

 

It didn't rate very high for performance in a magazine I read. Nice price and warranty though.

Colemanguy, would you happen to know what the difference is between the G and the A model? The only difference I could find in the specs is that the G has a DVI connection, and the A only an analogue one.

Also, I do hope you meant that I should be fine.

Anyone else have any experience with this monitor?

By the by, I happened to notice that epinions lists both the A and G models at 25ms response time, while the CTX specs say 16ms. Weirdness...
