I have a long 77 minute .flac audio file Nero will burn to CD. I also have what is called a .cue file. Am I understanding correctly that if I somehow include this .cue file with the burn to the CD, it will break this .flac file into separate audio tracks?

It should. If you open the .cue file with a text reader (eg: Notepad on Windows) you should see a list of how tracks are seperated.

I'm not sure if you need a special Nero flac plugin to burn those files. You might have to convert to .wav files and then burn (or use a different program altogether).
