Curious about GIRDAC PDF Creator

I find myself suddenly without a PDF conversion utility and am wondering about GIRDAC's high reviews. Wondering if ti will do the most important thing I need a converter to do. Here's the story.

I've been using Nitro PDF Free for about 3-4 years. I use it for a lot of things but one of the most critical tasks is to convert to PDF from Publisher the quarterly newsletter published by our municipal government for display on the web site.

Nitro was the first free program I found that not only simply converted any file to PDF but its ability to convert with one click the Publisher formatted newsletter to a 4 page PDF file was unique.

Now, after numerous updates, it suddenly requires me to configure the "printer" and no matter what I do I wind up with 2 2-page PDFs that I cannot merge into one file. That is simply unacceptable for my needs.

My question is whether GIRDAC can handle this task, which in essence is just automatic 2-sided printing?

Never heard of that software.

Isn't Publisher itself capable to export to PDF?
