current status of RealArcade & Firefox

sorry folks, i just finished with RealArcade's online chat person and their plugin is NOT compatible with Firefox.

your only recourse is to use IE8, with their plugin...you may have to delete all your cookies, temp internet files, uninstall/reinstall RealArcade AND your game(s) to get to where it will work properly, i won't guarantee it, except the gal at RealArcade did "recommend" IE, before admitting Firefox won't work at all.

if you're like me, and you refuse to use IE unless Microsoft insists, you'll go to their online chat, request they cancel your subscription & refund your money. i just did that & my refund is supposed to take 7-10 days.

i also requested she pass along my suggestion/request: get their plugin up to speed on Firefox or, preferably, go back to a stand-alone game manager that DID work; works for BigFish (who are absolutely AWESOME, btw. outstanding customer service & no issues with their game manager).

unless they contact me, i'm not going to keep checking to see if they've fixed things...well, i might, from time to time.

RealArcade doesn't have all that many games that you can't get directly from the developer, IMHO, except for the Gamehouse ones...btw, Gamehouse is now owned by RealArcade. found that out when i tried them after my problems with RealArcade. didn't actually install anything so no clue if the same problems exist, although someone else posted that it worked fine, back in August.

if/when i do hear about any fixes, i'll be sure and update this post with the results, unless someone else hears back first.
