custom pc wont start up, please help

when i press the start button on my computer the fans spin about half of an inch. my powersupply is a corsair CX 500. my motherboard is a MSI 970A-G43. my case is a NZXT source 210 elite.

These sorts of hardware issues are hard to work out remotely at times, but best first option to try is to check all connectors in the PC are fully and firmly connected, and even pull them out and re-connect.
When did this happen and had you added new software or hardware just before the PC didn't boot?
Had you been moving the PC at all and knocked it?

Disconnect any USB device apart from any USB mouse and Keyboard

Then see if PC boots.

Also what Windows version are you using?
What other hardware do you have in the PC like multiple hard drives, if you have USB devices connected like printers etc?

Like David said, we need more info.
Pending a full list of your hardware and your level of expertise I suggest.

1) remove and reinstall all power cables
2) re-calculate your power draw and be sure 500 is enough
3) pull all the extras off your mb except one stick of RAM, not even a HDD left and see if you can get to the BIOS
4) pull the power on, reset, speaker etc. connections and check where they go, if you know what you are doing leave them off and start the MB without a switch, if not do NOT try this as you can cause problems.
