customize windows 7

so computers are grest, they can be customized?
how would I make my CAPS lock only work when I hit the Fn button, so I don't inadvertently turn it on?
what about turning off the mouse right click button, without having to go into the mouse settings?

I don't have direct answers off hand, but thought I'd mention a feature you might want to try regarding CAPS Lock. If you go to Start, All Programs, Accessories, Ease of Access, and select Ease of Access Center, you'll see an option (hyperlink) titled "Make the keyboard easier to use". If you open that, you'll see on option called "Turn on Toggle Keys". Putting a check in the box enables the feature, which gives you an audible tone when you turn CAPS Lock on or off. I use it; it helps prevent inadvertently turning CAPS Lock on.

 

thanks, that helps with the frustration of having to hit backspace after I hit caps and continue typing....I'd still prefer CAPS to need Fn to be turned on/off.
If I had everything I wanted, then life wouldnt be the roller coaster that it is, it'd be level, and that would be boring

I don't have a direct answer either, but you can disable caps lock or change the function of any key by remapping it. One tutorial HERE, and many more on the net.
