Dell4600 XPHome/sp2. On reinstalling from the version4.0 with factory furnished cd, received an error#2147024891 in a GettingComponentMoveData box. When clicking ok to the box, I'm immediately returned to desktop. When I go back via control panel to the add/remove list, the PowerDVD icon is there again and no longer responds to a remove click command. Any other attempt to reinstall by cd now says I must uninstall the DVD program first... which I thought I had a clean uninstall from the beginning. From my start and all programs list there is now no icon from which to open CyberlinkPowerDVD. All this after successfully reinstalling DellMediaExperience earlier tonight. Neither do I see the application rule listed in my firewall allow list. If it truly remains in my pc, why won't it respond again to a remove and uninstall command! I'd sure appreciate some feedback on this one, and will help back in kind sometime... :)
