I got a D-Link Router (don't remember model, it's in the AirPlus series *NOT AIRPLUS-G or whatever* just AirPlus) and compatible NICs (these are all DWL-G510's, revision B). On a computer (Win XP SP2) I can't install the NIC. Manual says 1) install drivers 2) Shut down, install card 3) good to go!, but that's not the way it's working.

When I install the drivers, everything goes great, but then when I restart, Windows gives me the "new hardware found" wizard. I screwed around with this for maybe 2 hours, but it simply can't find the drivers after I've installed them. I've been to D-Link's tech support, but I came up dry there. Anyone have any ideas?

BTW, I had no trouble installing the NICs on 3 other computers (all WinXP SP1)-it's just this one that's a problem :(
