i have d3
i brougth d2 resurrection and cannot install

its say the game is 32 bits

well my xp is 64 bits

why did id made d3 for 32 and 64 bits
but d3 ressurection in 32 bits

waste my money man

D2 was released ( 1994 ) way way before Windows64 was in itself released, so they as in ID Software had no cause to add compatability into D2 at that stage as 64bit computing was a twinkle in some techies eye at that point.

MS Money Sucker, that maybe in some instances, but two things.......

1. They didnt force you to be an early adopter to Windows64 bit?
2. Its not all MS's fault that the 3rd party companies are too damm lazy to program updates for x64 compatabilty. Plus I highly doubt old games and/or software will have updates made to make them compatible with x64 computing as many of the Dev companies are out of bussiness now or been swallowed up by larger companies, who would rather you buy their new games/software that is compatible.

You not thought of Dual Booting Windows64 and XP32bit?

*general comment to all who may read this*
Their is something to be said about having an older spare PC these days so you can play or use older software thats a fav our yours.

I'd personally say add a dual boot with Win98, so you can play these older games, because XP isn't as compatible as MS would like you to believe.
