Earlier I was trying to play Need for Speed Underground 2 demo and the game crash, so I started it up again and my computer froze. I restarted my computer and after it finished post (is that what its called), a blank screen is all I recieved. I restarted again and it loaded to my desktop. Started Need for Speed Underground 2 demo again with Fraps and I got a blank screen with Fraps in the corner. A few seconds later I hear EA's voice promo, then the video and the main screen came up. It was blank with green fuzzy textures, nothing else. I then Alt F4'ed it.

Annoyed, I started up Call of Duty: United Offense and I got a blank screen, a few seconds into it the Blue Screen of Death popped up saying that the problem was "Memory_Management".

I restarted and loaded Dxdiag. I did the DirectDraw and Direct3d tests, and my computer passed the DirectDraw, but when I started the Direct3d, I saw the cubes, but with the green fuzzy textures. I reinstalled my ForceWare 61.77 drivers and it didn't work. I even tried the new Omega Drivers. No luck.

Also, another problem is that my Artec Dvdrom isn't being reconized in My Computer or in Device Manager. When it is reconized my computer lags up until I disable the dvd-rom.

    I have a BFG 6800 GT OC'ed (came that way), a 2.8Ghz P4 with HT, 2x 512 Kingston ValueRam, 2x 80gb Harddrives, a Dvd-rom, 3x major brand Case Fans, 5x LED Case Fans, Windows XP Pro SP2, and a P4P800SE mobo.

Any help is greatly appreciated (if posted in the wrong forum, I'm sorry).

If what Omegamerc suggested doesn't help I would suggest running an anti-virus, check for spyware & then run something like Memtest86+ to rule out a bad memory stick. You will want to run that memory test for as long as you can let it run. A few hours at least.

Also......how long have you had this card installed & is this the first time it's done anything like this?
