The Associated Press is reporting Dan Rather has announced he will step down as CBS Evening News anchor next March.

Actually, the AP is also reporting Rather applied to FoxNews for a job, but since they couldn't find 'fair & balanced' anywhere on his resume, they turned him down

 

In my job, if I were to do something similar, I would not get a chance to resign. I would have been fired. I assume that is true with most anybody else's job.

You think he would have gotten that chance if he had covered a story about Clinton's involvement with several deaths surrounding his administration? This of course is different, because he was trying to oust a "bad" President.
