Dark DVD Playback

    I am converting avi to dvd with Winavi video converter then have burned with Nero and Intervideo with same results, a dark picture playback.
    All previews during conversion, and burning are fine.
    But when actually play the dvd its dark. Using Sony DRU530A DVD Drive.
