Darlene most "Folders" leave there units on full time, I have had my two on on all the time for about a year now with no ill effects. So Keep on Trucking good Lady

 

Ya, I keep my 2 machines on 24/7 also except in hot weather when I'd have to have the A/C on. The only thing I do to save on wear and tear is to have my HDDs turn off after an hour of inactivity.
