Data Recovery for Macs in a Windows Machine

    Guys, does anyone know of a good recovery program that can run in a windows 7 machine to recover data from a MAC disk? My daughters iMac died and messed up the disk somewhat. Connecting the disk (through an external enclosure) to another Mac Laptop, did not work (the Laptop cannot see the disk). Which means the disk is somewhat corrupted.
