Data Recovery from Digital Camera Memory Stick

I have a Sony Cybershot Digital Camera with a 256 MB Memory Stick PRO as my memory card. I took pictures with it, as one typically does with a digital camera, and when I ran out of room on my card I would save the pictures onto a CD and then either format the card or I would just delete the pictures from the directory to make room for new pictures.. It appears, however, that I may have lost one of the CDs that I put the pictures onto. I am wondering if it would be possible to go back and recover the pictures I lost. The card and camera work fine, there are no errors or anything on the disk. From what I understand when you delete something, the computer doesn't really delete it - just 'forgets' where it is.

I tried both programs, but the only thing that happened was it 'recovered' the pictures I have on there right now. It didn't 'go back' and retrieve anything else. Is it possible to do what I want, or should I try to explain better what I am trying to do? Thanks again!
