   I am in the process of finishing up my MCSA, then off to get my Network+.
   I was interested in learning more about data recovery.
   Can anyone suggest any books or software that I can study and self teach?

   No specific books come to mind D3xt3r but when I've wanted to recearch data recovery, googles always thrown up some good links, include white paper in the text as well
