so first off im not to sure if this should be in here or in software but i'll just leave it for now.

i have 2 hdd in my computer one that was external and is now internal (250gb)and one thats been with the computer since i built it (15gb). the problem i have is that the smaller hdd is so full that windows is telling me to empty my files and what not but that doesnt really clean much up so what i want to do is put every thing except the OS on the larger hdd how do i do this?

    i have windwos xp w/ sp2
the larger hdd is western digital
    the smaller hdd is maxtor

    any help would be great

I think I'd try using Western Digital's Data Lifequard Tools software to copy your old drive over to the WD drive. Then, configure it as master and run Windows from it. Most likely, it's a faster hard drive and you'll notice better performance by doing this.

Or, if you have your Windows CD, do a clean install of Windows on the WD drive.

Either way, you could configure the old drive as slave and use it for extra storage if you want.
