    Hey there,

I'm currently using an older keyboard (Hewlett Packard model# SK-2501 A) - does anyone know of a site where I might be able to get a users guide or diagram? There are buttons (keys) on this keyboard that I'm not familiar with (option-type buttons/keys, around the edges such as "Top Tools", "www", and "?", and some others with symbols that I, well ... I'm not pushing ANYTHING right now if I don't know what it is (hah).

    thanks in advance,
    g ...
PS - I tried the HP website, but got somewhere in the neighborhood of 300 GA-Zillion results - the first several of which proved useless ... I mean COMPLETELY useless ....

Thank you as always. You are suggesting this second driver over the first one you mentioned to me - correct?

Also, as I am not really noticing any "issues" (problems) per se (except perhaps that the keys seem a little "sluggish", to me), should I really opt for installing a new driver, when what I was mainly thinking was that I would like to have more of a "owners/user manual", so as to know more about the device? The keyboard seems to work well enough, and my concern would be that it may not after a driver update (though I suppose I could always ("try") to roll it back.

    Thanks again,

    The manual:
    http://h20000.www2.hp.com/bizsupport...&lang=en&cc=us
explains what the extra function keys do.
But they won't do everything they are designed to, unless the proper driver is installed.
You are probably using a generic keyboard driver that might not allow for the special function keys.
You can check if this is the case by trying the keys and seeing if they work as the manual says they should.
If not, then try the drivers I linked for you.
The first driver I linked for you is for this keyboard, but it is a Win98 driver and I am not certain it will work with any other OS.
The second driver is meant for all HP multimedia keyboards and is written for all OSes.
One of them should work for you.
