Dban Question?

Hello Everyone I am running Dban to erase all on my desktop so i can give it away. I forgot to put the code in for running it with 3 pass's, so it is running 31 pass's which takes at least 6 hours. Can i stop it after 3 pass's or would that create a problem? Thanks

 

ok, it finished after 6 hours, but how can i delete the HPA, host protected file which the dban did not delete? Thanks

Foogoo, it looks like it mentions only linux hpa removal is it for windows also.

and if hpa is removed can they still put a windows operating system on the pc? Thanks
