DCOM exploit attacks

I reinstalled Avast 4.8 home recently and have recieved the following DCOM exploit attacks.

I am unsure what this means and or what to do about it

I have windows xp sp3
Comodo firewall

Hi sabaithaime, that is an attack, but it is not as bad as it sounds this type of thing is basically "internet background noise"

For example: i get hits off the helkern worm all the time, it is a bot just making its way through ip addresses, you are not being targeted.

All in all nothing to worry about really, just make sure you are fully updated [windows updates most important] and you will be ok.
