DDR NTFS recovery is a scam

Hi, I lost my data on my external hard drive and decided to download "NTFS file recovery software" it only brought back my folders, not my data and it cost me $80.00.

contact the tech support and after he couldn't help me no more I decided to ask for my money back because i know free programs that can get data back better than this which his/her program didn't even find a file... nothing, only folders.... I was hoping to get more from their program.
yes, once I ask for a refund he didn't even contact me anymore!

has anyone been scam by these people? "filerecovery.in"

I can't find reports on them or even heard anything about this company which I should have checked first!
