de-interlace Filter NEED MAJOR HELP PLEASE

Ok after i got my computer reformatted when i go to capture video from my TV to my computer i keep getting this error that it says "Cannot find de-interlace filter" and i do not know how to get this.

Before i got my computer reformatted i never had this error before and everything worked fine. Do i have to upadate any drivers or any thing or download somthing to get this back or what but i am really confused on what to do....

Another thing is cause i want to capture in mpeg 1 or 2 for now just cause it is a smaller size it says that "Cannot find Mpeg1/2 capture filter interface..."

Have no clue where to find the Mpeg stuff so that i can use that so if any one could please help me on what to do that would be really great thanks....

 

What device do you use to capture video? Also what OS are you using?

 

i am using windows XP home and i have a kworld usb device 2800 or somthing like that heres the link of what it is , its just a picture

I mean some of my friends said that it should automatically be installed on my computer but obviously it isnt and dunno where to get it..

devmgmt.msc (press enter)

Do you have any yellow (!) icons? Or red (x)'s?

Did you install all the software and drivers that came with your product?

 

No i do not have any red X's or Yellow !'s everything i believe is installed

I just want to say, I've never used this product, but there may be other issues, besides this.

 

I already installed that but i mean is there any way for me to get like MPEG 1/2 filters and de interlace filter? cause thats all i need to get

 

Should i call up microsoft? or one of the companies to help me out?

 

Did you try the installation CD that came with the capture device? It should have the filters you need. Here is the link to KWorld's download page, which hads a link for the driver and the installation CD, if you don't have it. http://www.kworld.com.tw/en/download/e02.htm
