Deactivated Account Splash Screen

When my PC starts up I get the attached pop up telling me to uninstall something but it gives no clues about what it is that needs uninstalling. Does anyone recognize the pop up? I assume that this is something I signed up for long ago & have not used for a while. It is not causing any problem, I'd just like to get rid of it.

 

Have a look in the startup menu and see if you can get any clues from whats running, and perhaps disable any third-party apps you dont need in 'task manager'!
If this works, then move to a full un-install of them

Look at the top left corner, you will see mC+. Maybe this web page will clear it up.

 

The only thing I could spot was PowerDVD, the trial had expired. I uninstalled that using Revo but still get the pop up.

 

Yes, I saw that. It refers to MySurveyUK which gives rewards for completing surveys but I still log in & use that a couple of times every week. I logged in just now & the account is still active.

 

Contact MySurveyUK and ask why you're getting the popup.

 

I'll do that & report what they say.

 

After several e-mail exchanges with MySurvey & following their suggestions, none of which worked, I checked my PC using REVO Uninstaller. This found an mC+ ap which I am guessing was installed during one of their surveys. This ap did not show up in the Win10 programme list. REVO removed this & the pop-up is gone.
