Hi all just need some confirmation on a likely dead mobo. Bought S/H ASUS A8N SLI Premium Socket 939 and was running OK for 2 days then this morning as if the electric had been switched off it just stopped, no warning just stopped. I thought PSU had blown a fuse so have replaced with another PSU, try to switch on with nothing connected only power, lights are on mobo but no fan activity, checked wiring for switch thats ok.. So do you reckon its dead before I return as there is a 30 day return policy on purchase??

Have installed processor in old mobo and the same result lights on but no heatsink fan working so this appears as you said zencyl that the processor has had it yet its only about 18 months old ..and No prior warning like overheat etc. rolleyes
