Debugging software??

I'm getting a reboot most times when I play bf2142 and never a CTD. Is there any tools you can run in the background that documents something why your system would reboot? I dont get any BSOD.

I've checked my event viewer and the windows DMP but nothing shows up relating to a timeframe when I get a reboot. Most of my hardware is brand new so I need to find out what's causing this.

I only get the reboot while playing bf2142. I find most of the time its during upclose explosions or flights but not always. I use mixed low-med settings. I've done most of the basic legwork diagnosing this but this is a stumper. All these hardwares are new.

9800pro ATI (new card under warrenty, yes sent old one back just to see)
1 gig ram (i have 1.5gigs but I've done the swapout/slots thingy already)
3500 athlon 64
600 PSU
onboard sound
asus a8v-mx
maxtor HDD

I'm an update freak so all drivers and patches are done (mobo, ati, XP, game) and I'm a regular Omega user. I tried older video driver versions both catalyst and Omega. Done the mem86 and windows memory testing, good. Inside the case is dust free, sides off and a fan pointing right at the ATI heat sink.

The game plays fine and fast with no lag at all and no glitches except I get the darned reboots when I play.

Any thoughts is appreciated.

 

try Snapfiles.com I havent checked myself but there is a massive library of freeware and shareware software.
