Dedicated display card in laptop?

I want to purchase a laptop with the cheapest dedicated display card I can find. However it seems to me that manufacturers are not exactly forthcoming when giving details about their chips. For example various integrated display cards boast of features such as "Up to 256 MB of HyperMemory(tm)" when what they really mean is "this card does not have any memory".

Can anybody suggest a way to find a cheap laptop with a dedicated display card other than exhaustively researching each model of display card in order to determine which cards are approrpiate, then researching which laptops have these cards and are still sold?

I mean, I'd take even a crappy old GeForce 4 as long as it had its own memory and came in a brand new laptop. But there doesn't seem to be a good way of finding such a thing.

Any help would be much appreciated.

You may want to take a look at a used Alienware laptop. You should be able to find a decent one on Ebay. For the most part, they should have integrated graphics cards and since it seems like you don't want a top of the line model, you should be able to find an older one on there for pretty cheap.
